Year 12 students take their engineering studies beyond the classroom and four students progress to the next round of a national maths competition. Plus, important reminders about upcoming exams for some year groups.

This week, the first performance of ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ plus two Year 9s win a local reading competition. Also, the usual news and notices, including some reminders about important upcoming events.

Week 22 (27-31 January 2025)

This week, our Year 9 Sports Leaders take a special trip to a national stadium while our Year 7s take part in a world-wide campaign. You can also meet the cast of ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ and read some important notices.

Week 21 (20-24 January 2025)

In this busy issue, Year 9 students take part in a special remembrance event, plus another former student is continuing his career as a professional footballer in the English second tier.

Week 20 (13-17 January 2025)

This week, school production tickets are now on sale and you can now download the extra-curricular schedule, sorted by year group. Plus all the usual notices and information!

Week 19 (6-10 January 2025)

Featuring some important community projects, the usual notices and information, plus three students in the top 11% nationally for a maths competition.

Week 16 (16-20 December 2024)

At the end of 2024, we celebrate our students, including the first to receive a Diamond award and lots of cups and prizes at our Senior Awards Evening. We also have two big reveals – the title of this year’s school production (hint: a children’s classic) and a student-led band with an exciting recording project.

Week 15 (9-13 December 2024)

In the penultimate issue of term, a reflection on our glorious Winter Concert, as well as information about how boys have been spreading festive spirit via the Christmas lunch, local charity collection, and Christmas Jumper Day. Plus important notices including a reminder about the end of term.

Week 12 (18-22 November 2024)

Week 11 (11-15 November 2024)

In this edition, students receive poignant reminders about the importance of remembrance, as two Year 12s visit a former Nazi concentration camp and we commemorate Armistice Day in school. Plus, our Key Stage 4 badminton team aim to make it fifteen years in a row as borough champions.

Week 10 (4-8 November 2024)

The first issue after half-term, featuring a Sixth Form student receiving international sporting recognition, as well as our Big Band hitting the recording studios to produce a music track for release.

Week 8 (21-25 October 2024)

In this week’s issue, students embark on a year-long project with a prestigious West End theatre. We also recognise and reward students demonstrating superb commitment to the school’s values, and much more!

Week 7 (14-18 October 2024)
