The project started with a confidential survey that asked for everyone in the school community for their thoughts about mental health. We had great response with 987 students, 561 parents/carers and 94 staff members taking part in the survey.
These results were then shared with focus groups of students, staff and parents/carers who helped to identify priorities and create a plan of what actions that Mind and Isleworth & Syon could implement to promote good mental health and wellbeing for everyone involved with the school.
Mind and Isleworth and Syon School worked together on a series of new services, interventions and workshops to respond to the priorities identified in the surveys and action planning groups.

MIND worked with the school to provide mental health and wellbeing trainings and workshops for school staff and parents/carers. We will provide updates for these as our plans develop.
Together we have created this section of the website, where students, staff and parent/carers can find a variety of resources that give information and advice about mental health and wellbeing. The resources are located in the next tab.
