Please find the 2016-17 Annual Review below. It gives a flavour of a year in the life at Isleworth & Syon School, summarising the main happenings of the last academic year.
It was certainly a busy year in school, with sustained success and achievement in fields of academia, sport and performing arts. The 60-page Review features lots of sporting success, with several teams experiencing borough and county success and multiple students becoming national champions in their chosen sport. Meanwhile, our former students continue to make waves on a national scale, with Mo Farah knighted in the January honours and two ex-students beginning professional sporting careers.
There were lots of fascinating trips throughout the year such as theatre trips to London’s West End, plus conferences, study days and workshops across the curriculum. Events in school continued to amaze and enthral, with a fantastic and spooky performance of a Shakespeare classic, plus multiple music concerts and shows. Whether students are in Year 7 or Year 13, they are consistently presented with great opportunities to enrich their studies.
We are very proud in school of the breadth of opportunities afforded to Isleworth & Syon students, and we continue to progress our enrichment offer year-on-year in order to bring students’ classroom studies to life.
