A sense of history is very important to Isleworth & Syon, as we aim to be a school which looks to the future while ensuring that we never forget our past. For this reason, from 2015-2019, the school commemorated each of the 81 individuals that lost their lives during World War I, on the 100-year anniversary of their deaths. You can click on an individual’s name to view some information about them.

The project has now been completed, and this page will stay as a permanent record.

If you are interested in learning more about this topic, we recommend checking out the Isleworth 390 project, set up by local residents as a means to discover more about the 390 Isleworth residents who tragically lost their lives in World War I.
