Year 13 Leavers' Assembly 2026

Year 13 Leavers' Assembly 2026

Before the May half-term, we said goodbye to Year 13 as we held a heartfelt Leavers’ Assembly. This celebration was almost completely led by students, and was a poignant and personal send-off for a group who mostly began their school journey nearly seven years ago - September 2019! Throughout, it was fantastic to hear student recollections about their time in school, including some of the Sixth Form Student Voice team: Arjun Ruprah, Ollie Gilmour and Jiya Mangat. As always, the 'boy to man' montage video was a particular highlight, showing their school photos through the ages. It was lovely to see students' warm reactions as they reached the end of their I&S journey.

The 'Sixth Form Awards' voted by students added a lovely humour to the occasion, with awards including 'Most Likely to Become Prime Minister', 'Most Likely to Brighten Your Day' and 'Best Advice-Giver'. The raucous atmosphere during this section showed the clear bond between these students. It was clear that students were full of appreciation for the guidance that had shaped their academic and personal growth. We were also pleased to enjoy a superb performance from our vocational music students - Jack, Jahsiah and Louie did an amazing job! The event ended with a group photo, capturing a significant moment in time. All students were heavily encouraged to join our rapidly-growing Alumni Network to stay in touch - we hope that they do. In the meantime, we wish every student well with their next steps, whatever they may be.
