Computer Science Masterclass

At the end of November, Ms Stroude took vocational IT students to St Mary’s University, Twickenham for a Computer Science Masterclass Day. This fascinating day of activities saw students experience a carousel of different lectures, including sessions on artificial intelligence, and cyber security They particularly enjoyed the unique hands-on experience in the university’s e-sports arena, which cost £625,000! They were hosted by students who are currently studying computer science at the university and were invited to attend the upcoming open day where academic staff will give information about career pathways and technology-based courses. This was a brilliant learning experience for everyone involved!
