Alumni Workshop - Kye Page
We always love welcoming our former students - our alumni - back in to school. To that end, it was a true delight to host Kye Page for a very special drama workshop with Year 9 students. Kye left the school last summer after taking drama all the way to A level, as well as being involved in every single whole school and senior school productions from Year 7 to Year 13. Last year, alongside his studies, he undertook a week of work placement at the Old Vic theatre in London. This has inspired his dream of a career in workshop facilitation, and we seemed well-placed to give him a chance to practice these skills.
Year 9 drama students are currently studying 'DNA', a play by Dennis Kelly - which Kye also studied in school. His deep knowledge of the play came in handy as he led students through several exercises to help them delve deeper into the themes of the play. Kye was brilliant at helping students articulate their thoughts about each others' devised pieces, and it was fantastic to see him flourishing. Thanks to Kye for giving his time to inspire the next generation of Isleworthians. He is one of many ex-Isleworthians who have joined our Alumni Network - click the link to find out how you can get involved!
