Isleworth & Syon has once again bucked the national trends with a record-equalling set of GCSE examination results. 73% of boys at Isleworth & Syon gained a C grade or higher in the English Language qualification. This far exceeds the national figure, which fell to 62%. Results were similar for Mathematics, as 75% of the boys gained a C grade or above. This beat the national score by a fantastic 13%.
Overall, 25% of grades were at A*-A, with 78% achieving A*-C. These results surpassed the national scores and comfortably outshone the national figures for boys.
There were some outstanding individual achievements, including Thomas Knox and Swaraj Sandhu (both 7 A* and 3 A), as well as Marcus Johnson (7 A*, 3 A and 2 B) and Saleh Ammouna (8 A*, 1 A and 2 B). Congratulations to our students and staff for all of their hard work and commitment. We wish all of our students well in their future studies.

In a year in which results have dipped for the first time in decades, Isleworth & Syon bucked the trend with a slight rise across the board. Our students achieved a stunning 100% pass rate. Over three-quarters of the results were at grade C and above, with 25% at A/A*. There were some outstanding individual achievements, with a number of students gaining entry to university in September.
These gains are a testimony to the school’s commitment to being ‘outstanding in every respect’. Congratulations to all of the students and staff for their hard work and dedication. We wish all our students the very best in the next stage of their education.
