We were delighted to discover a recent sporting success from one of our new Year 7 students, Theo-Amari Ochana (7A). On Sunday 21st September, he competed in a regional qualifiers gymnastics competition. Theo-Amari came in third place overall, an absolutely outstanding achievement. He now goes on to represent London at a national level in November, taking part in an event held in Birmingham.
This success demonstrates his willingness to work hard in order to achieve in his chosen sport. It is particularly impressive as Theo-Amari undertakes fifteen hours of training per week after school. It is clear that this regime is paying dividends already, showing Theo-Amari’s sheer dedication and hard work to his chosen sport. Congratulates to Theo-Amari!
We look forward to charting Theo-Amari’s sporting successes as he moves up the school – it is clear that he has a bright future ahead of him. Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook feeds for further updates on Theo-Amari’s progress.
